people who have to find some kind of sign to justify their faith are waisting their time...faith is more simple then finding the blessed mother on toast..people need to be more interested in the world around them...God isnt in their toast...or in their coffe grounds...God is in us.. is in nature...finding his face in cerial.. not so much...lil weird...

Agreed. Though I love God & Jesus with all my heart... that finding Mary's face on a potato chip and such nonsense is complete crap to me.

I no thar IS a god but people also over obsess over god its like when you learn about plate tectonics or the big bang theory thars always the ones who sit thar saying none of this is true god created earth that drives me crazy how do u think he did it? I agree and I personally feel that the bible was written by the goverment to instill fear into people over the years....look around many of our laws are based on the bible....god is not real

i agree, but only to an extent. see, im a catholic. i dont believe in everything they teach because i havew my own mind, therefore my own opinion! however im not totally sure research went into this. because if you really cared and asked a true catholic theyd tell you that all that stuff, the madonna on the cheese sandwich, the painting of religious figure, its all bull. catholics are taught that those things cant be true because we dont know what jesus looked like. and i dont go around worshipping a sandwich., thats not how religion works. god is a part of every day life but not in the way you depict him! he doesnt have to be the all powerful to be here. i dont downtraud on atheism but i do believe it is not right. people that are atheist say they dont believe in organized religion and god and that stuff, but then they go and talk to people about being atheist! wha tis the point in this? not sure but at the end of my life id rather die and find out there isnt a god then die not believing and find out there is.

look up the torah! oh my gosh dude. it is the old testament in the bible. and guess what? it was written by people claiming to be prophets liuke te rest of the bible. before insulting people by talking crap about their religion you should do some research!

If people want to believe in something to make life less horrible, let them. If they need to search for Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich, then fine. If that little incident makes them smile, then that's wonderful. As long as they are not pushing their ideas on you, they aren't doing much harm.

I don't like the concept of religion either because of the way it is set up and like anything human-made there are faults.

As a Jew...this is interesting to me. First govt and religion should not mix, period. Those lines have been blurred in this country for some time. Most of our "laws" are based around the Ten Commandments...they leave out the other 603 from the Torah. Second. I agree with strawberrypink...let people believe what they want. Just don't shove it down my throat. You don't have be involved in organized religion to be spiritual nor do you have to be humanist to be atheist or agnostic. tolerance...can be the answer.
